In this 45-minute keynote presentation, Dr. Alli will share her path from graduate student to full time college lecturer (a non-tenure track position), the academic job application process, as well as four key thought exercises for grad students to reflect on to help them choose a career that is the right fit for them.

In this 90-minute workshop, Dr. Alli will share how failure, imposter syndrome, and overwhelm can lead to a cycle of procrastination and burnout. She will walk through the five reasons graduate students procrastinate as well as strategies for overcoming each reason. Finally, Dr. Alli will discuss how to honor healthy boundaries in grad school.

In this 45-minute session for McNair Scholars, Dr. Alli will share her journey from being a McNair Scholar in undergrad to a thriving graduate student. In the session, she will share 7 major mindset shifts that McNair Scholars will need to navigate graduate school as well as promising practices for them to implement right away.
